Fall-Winter Essential #1

Gant Knitted Wool Snood
Gant Gray Knitted Lambs Wool Snood

This very practical snood was my very first FW accessory. Coming from a tropical country like the Philippines, I didn't really have that much of a basic winter wardrobe. So I started building up on my FW essentials to keep me warm during these cold seasons. I bought this last year FW08, and it seemed to still be at trend this year seeing more of it's reincarnations from Burberry and the like. Made from lambs wool, it's very comfortable and very easy to match with pretty much everything.

After seeing Burberry's Art of The Trench website, my old flame of wanting a trench coat is rekindled.

Gucci Cruise 2010 Favorites

Two pairs of shoes from the Gucci Cruise Collection caught my attention.

Gucci
Moccasins with Gucci script logo and bow detail. Elegant and sophisticated in patent leather and grosgrain trim with leather soles. I like how simple and direct the design is, and this will definitely last you many years, so it's a great investment. It's a timeless piece.

Gucci
Lace-up shoes with embossed Gucci script detail. Definitely a looker in yellow degradé leather with leather soles. Again, the cut is classic with just the right touches to make it modern.

Alexander McQueen Greatness

Sorry for the very late feature but I've been very busy and though late I really have to post this. Why can't we get something this otherworldliness in men's fashion? Alexander McQueen is definitely the highlight of the whole Spring Summer 2010 fashion week. He's definitely done it again season after season.

This is shoe orgasm to the max. Guys, we can only admire from afar.

LV Namesake

As I would like to believe, LV's new bags from the masculine Damier Graphite line, coincidentally have the same name as mine. Not just one, but two of them! What's even more interesting is that, the bags are supposed to be named after famous architects. (Maybe they are predicting my future already) haha. Enough of this delusion and let's get down to business.

First up is LV Damier Graphite Thomas

Keep everything neatly in order with the practical Thomas. Elegantly masculine in iconic Damier Graphite canvas, it’s the ideal bag for the man who needs something compact and efficient.

Next up is the LV Damier Graphite Michael

The Michael in Damier Graphite canvas is a lightweight backpack combining style and comfort. Ideal for carrying a laptop, books and all essentials, it can be used for business or leisure.

I actually did check the Thomas IRL but opted for the Rem instead. I really do prefer leather straps. The Michael looks promising too, but I am not a backpack kind of guy. I honestly still wonder though which architects these bags were named after? Michael Graves? and a Thomas? I am not sure. Can anyone enlighten me on this one?
